At Arthrex Colorado Springs, we’re proud to recognize the individuals who help drive our success. This month, our Employee Spotlight features Chris Driscoll, Area Manager. Thank you, Chris, for your hard work and dedication! Can you tell us a little about your background and how you got started in sales? I had always wanted to get into medical sales in one way or another. In my 20s, I found this difficult—everyone wanted sales experience. So, I went out and got that. I took a job in sales and marketing for a local Denver MRI & CT facility, calling on all specialties and building relationships. I stayed there probably six months too long, but it led to job recommendations for both DePuy and Arthrex. I chose Arthrex and soon after moved to Crested Butte. What drew you to join Arthrex Colorado Springs? Ten years ago, I was living in Denver and wanted to stay there. The only openings available at the time were in Cheyenne, WY or Crested Butte. My plan was to stay in Crested Butte for a year, gain experience, then return to Denver to work for Arthrex or another company. However, I saw the growth potential and felt the urge to stay longer and continue developing the territory. What has been your career path leading up to your current role? I started as a Territory Manager from day one. I had no idea what a SutureTak was, but I was willing to drive to Denver to pick one up if it meant being ready for surgery the next day—and I often did. I believe that motivation to solve problems and attention to detail are part of what led to my current role as Area Manager. How would you describe the team culture at Arthrex Colorado Springs?
